To further improve the stability of refractory brick quality, optimize production processes and accelerate the intelligent and green transformation of the enterprise, the intelligent automatic batching building for refractory materials has recently been fully completed and officially launched for trial operation. It marks a new leap forward in the company’s manufacturing capability.

In the past, raw material batching for refractory bricks relied on manual weighing and feeding. Affected by human operation, slight deviations existed in raw material proportion across different batches, which caused fluctuations in product performance indirectly. Meanwhile, open feeding generated much dust. Heavy manual workload restricted production efficiency, making it hard to meet strict manufacturing requirements for bulk export orders and high‑grade refractory bricks for kilns.

 

The newly‑built vertical integrated automatic batching building is equipped with an intelligent PLC central control system. Aggregates and powder materials are stored in separate zones with fully enclosed conveying and negative‑pressure dust removal throughout the whole process. Formulas for corundum‑mullite bricks, silicon carbide bricks, special‑shaped refractory bricks and other products can be pre‑entered into the system. The whole procedures including feeding, precise weighing, sequential charging and mixed‑material conveying are automatically completed in accordance with preset parameters. High‑precision weighing modules strictly control the proportion of each raw material and minimize batching errors. Batch discrepancies caused by manual weighing are effectively eliminated. Physical and chemical indicators of refractory bricks keep stable and consistent batch after batch. Product quality is guaranteed from the production source to adapt to harsh working conditions of high‑temperature kilns in steel plants, cement plants and rotary kilns.
